Abstract
Dignitaries at the dedication from left to right: U.S. Senator Mark Udall, former Senator Wayne Allard, U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, and Speaker, James H. Shore, MD. From 1999 to 2006, Dr. Shore was chancellor of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He added the role of CU Denver chancellor in July 2004 when the two campuses were consolidated. The Nighthorse Campbell Native Health Building houses the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health and is within the Colorado School of Public Health.
